The way to weigh

Class 9 have been busy estimating and measuring weights today. We started off by guessing the weights hidden inside (clean) pairs of socks.



Lots of us realised that we tended to over estimate the weight. Next, we all learnt to read a variety of different scales by calculating what each division was worth.




We estimated the weight of lots of classroom objects and then found the difference between our estimates and the actual weight. Lots of surprising discoveries were made.
