Easter Trail

Class 9 experienced a very special morning today. We learnt about what Easter means to Christians by using all our senses.

We smelt fish when by the Sea of Galilee, tasted bread around the 'Last Supper' table and felt grass beneath our feet in the Garden of Gethsememe. We heard the crow of a cockerel in the High Priest's Courtyard and really loved collecting little mementoes during each stage of the trail.

The children all made a clay fish during the trail, which they will soon bring home, and got a taste of some delicious Rocky Road to remind them that Jesus regarded his disciple Peter as his 'rock'.

The Redland Education Centre team and volunteers were so welcoming to our school and were as impressed with our pupils as we were with them!

Many thanks to the lovely group of parent helpers who accompanied us on our trip today.
